To provide seating, shade and greenery at this newly constructed home,
the Owners opted for a multi-level round patio with integrated landscape
beds, as well as a shade trellis with built-in seating. Canvas panels
were custom-made for each individual section to provide shade from
the setting sun the west as well as privacy from nearby neighbors.
The trellis was covered with exterior lights - for an Italian cafe
atmosphere at night - and eventually grown over with Clematis and
Ivy.
The
final project fits within the tight site boundaries and provides excellent
curb appeal, as this portion of the back yard is completely seen from
the curving street-front.
